Scope

What the price covers

  • 01

    Capacity on a named flight

Flight number and uplift date on the confirmation. In a tight week we will say what is realistic before you promise a date to your customer.

  • 02

Chargeable weight worked before you book

Volumetric against actual, calculated from your packing list, so the invoice matches the quote.

  • 03

    Dangerous goods

Batteries, aerosols and flammables, with the declaration and packing done properly. If a shipment cannot fly we say so rather than finding out at the screening point.

  • 04

    Airport to door

Import clearance and a booked delivery window at the far end, instead of a note telling you where to collect.

02

How it runs

Three stages, one team

01

Book the uplift

Chargeable weight, flight and cutoff confirmed, with the all-in rate covering screening, terminal and clearance.

02

Fly and clear

Received, screened, uplifted, transferred and landed, each scan pushed as the airline reports it. The entry is filed before the aircraft is on the stand.

03

Deliver

Out for delivery inside the window we booked, with the proof of delivery back the same day.

The part most quotes leave out

Air is priced on whichever is greater, actual or volumetric weight. A light, bulky pallet can cost three times what the scales suggest, so we show you both numbers on the quote.

03

To quote it

Four things in the email

Send these and the number comes back. Send fewer and you get a range.

  1. 01

Airport pair, or the two door addresses
  2. 02

Gross weight and the dimensions of every carton
  3. 03

Commodity, and whether any of it is dangerous goods
  4. 04

The date it has to land
